BACKGROUND

Powertel Communications, a subsidiary of ZESA Holdings, is a Public Data Network Operator fully licensed by the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) to provide data communications services.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES
The company’s main product is Telecommunications Bandwidth over a robust and secure Optic Fibre Transmission Network.

Currently, they have an existing fibre optic network, stretching between Harare, Bulawayo and Plumtree which was primarily installed for improving power system communications and operations. Our market though, is spread in the different sectors of industry.

Powertel Communications is set to introduce Internet services through the establishment of an Internet Service Provision (ISP) and new Internet based products such as e-medicine and e-hurudza.
